Research & Planning: Make Up Test

In these pictures, I used my boyfriend Stefan Done, who will be appearing in the trailer as a victim. I used make-up that I already have at home to create the bruise on his eye and the cut on his head. I used eye shadows, lip gloss, nail varnishes and cream.We also used friends, Josh and Sinead to do make up tests on as well. We then did a make up test on our friend, Amy, who is going to be the main character in our trailer.

This is my updated film poster and now I have included the cast & crew information for my film at the bottom using the font 'Steel Tongs' which is the font that is usually used for film posters for this information.

While I am currently in the process of producing my film magazine, I have decided to begin creating my film poster. I have only just started off and done the basics but this is what I have done so far.

Now that I am back in college I can start making my weekly plans again. This week I will be:

• Filming a part of my teaser trailer
• Thinking of a name for our Distribution Company
• Creating Logos for our Distribution Company and Studio
• Continuing with work on my film magazine

Research & Planning: Studio Logos

My partner, Nathan, had a go at creating a logo for one of our studios "Static Pictures". He made this on photoshop and used the 'rough typewriter' font, then made a box using the rectangle tool to represent the Television. Then he used the pencil tool to create the lines to make it static like. However, it was more difficult that we thought it would be and we know we may have to find some other way to create a static effect.

Research & Planning: Nathan's Distribution Company Names

Me & Nathan already have one studio name picked out which we have called 'Static Pictures'. This logo will consist of a picture/animation of a TV working fine then turning static. This is usually a feature that is commonly used in horror films & the 'dial tone' will be used heavily as well. Ideas that Nathan  has come up with for the distribution company names are:
